Future of media, changing journalism and new communication

In May 2019, an international scientific conference entitled “The Future of Media, Mediatization, Journalism and Communication” took place at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz (Poland) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the university and the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s heritage. This Renaissance genius was born at a time when Gutenberg launched his printing machine, and today at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan you can see, among others, various media and communication inventions from different epochs. (…) Indeed, the most innovative minds in human history have determined the development of civilization, including innovations in the field of media and communication that have an indisputable impact on the modern world. Leonardo da Vinci was to be an inspiration for conference participants who came from various countries and continents to discuss about the future of media, journalism and communication.
