Product Description

We present the readers with the third volume of Current psychosocial problems in traditional and novel approaches prepared by research workers from the Institute of Psychology at the Kazimierz Wielki University and cooperating specialists from other universities. This volume is concern many roles and difficulties in their realisation in the period of adolescence and adult life, and with the significance of this type experience for the sense of wellbeing. The authors of the texts concentrate on the everyday activity of people, which for adults is mainly related to work and family. This everyday activity is viewed as the basis of individual development. However, not everything depends on man, treated by contemporary psychologists as the subject and the main cause of events and creator of his/her own fate and his/her personality and life path. Of course the biological aspect such as genome and physical condition are important, but of similar importance is the social and cultural environment, so the people with whom each of us makes numerous and often very complex relations. These relations are sources of our everyday experience, often difficult to work out in the structures of the mind in the emotional, cognitive and evaluating aspects.
